Eyeball Live Webcams and Digital Photos

The Eyeball Surfcams are live webcams which are updated every second and are active 24/7 365 (all being well!). The live streams may be a bit 'gittery' sometimes depending on the amount of traffic hitting the site.

We have one that looks out over the Woolacombe's main beach, one looking out over Putsborough beach, one at Saunton, a cam at Croyde and also Westward Ho!.

The webcams have been supported by several local businesses and you can find out more about them by looking at their adverts shown at the top of the page or in the links page.

Other images are taken by hand once a day with a digital camera and feature Woolacombe Bay's 3 main beaches, Main beach, Putsborough and Combesgate, but also Croyde and Saunton. By clicking on them they can be enlarged to full screen size thus giving you a view of Woolacombe only rivaled by actually being here yourself.

If there is a major change in the conditions through the day up to date pics will be uploaded.

Surf Report

The Eyeball Surf Report is updated at first light every morning with a detailed digital picture and a written surf report, it gives surfers extra information, such as wave height and where the best places are to surf at that moment in time. The written surf reports are an invaluable part of the surf check, giving you information that can not be conveyed through the photo alone. If there is a major change in the conditions through the day this information will be updated.
